Penfold is a "Digital, flexible and online pension for everybody - job hoppers, self-employed, side-hustlers - everyone!". It has no minimum initial investment amount, flexible contributions and a free pension consolidation service that allows customers to transfer existing pensions across with ease, Penfold boasts a pension that can be set up in under 5 minutes and allows you to top up, change or pause your payments at any time. Penfold pensions are managed by BlackRock and HSBC. Just pick one of six carefully created, low cost investment plans, and let your money work for you. Instantly through its app or web platform.
Get to grips with your pension
Know exactly what’s going on with your pension at any time, get to grips with how pensions work and manage everything effortlessly online or through Penfold's app. Explore your fund and see exactly which companies you’re invested in. Then, hold them to account by voting on policies at board meetings - all from your phone.
'Plug & play' API integration
Utilising Tumelo's Plug & Play play platform, Penfold enables its users to get a transparent view of the companies they own in their pension fund and a shareholder voice on issues they care about.
How it works
Users access Tumelo via their Penfold account. They can see and explore companies in their portfolio. Users learn about upcoming shareholder votes and submit vote preferences for issues they care about. Tumelo collects preferences from all users and informs those responsible for voting ahead of company AGM's. After each AGM, Tumelo communicates impact and new votes via its personalised vote notification system.
